Phantom has been solana-based up to now, but the crypto company has recently announced that they are going to integrate two more blockchains (i.e. Ethereum and Polygon) in beta mode for desktop, iOS, and Android apps in the first quarter of 2023.
Some advantages of the crypto wallet are; centralizing exchanges and companies which carry user data, being self-custodial and secure ,also easy to use.
The wallet was launched in 2021 by co-founders Brandon Millman, Chris Kalani, and Francesco Agosti. They inspired the idea of Phantom from the frustration of using the Metamask wallet.
