objkt

objkt NFT Marketplace

What is objkt.com

objkt.com is the largest NFT marketplace on the Tezos blockchain; offering art, music, collectibles, gaming items and other virtual goods. We are on a mission to build the largest web3 creator platform, empowering creators, collectors and builders in a brand-new economy.

For Creators

Creators can mint (publish) their creations as tokens with limited supply, each representing a piece of their work. Every token is minted into a collection, which is represented by a smart contract (FA2 standard) on the blockchain and is owned by the artist. For every token a creator can specify a royalty that is paid on each sale. Read our statement on creator royalties.

A variety of sales tools and auction modes enable experimentation and make sure everyone will find their ideal monetisation model.

For Curators

We are working hard on making curators first-class citizens on objkt. Curators are able to curate galleries, earn fees and much more.

For Collectors

Objkt.com offers a wide range of tools for collecting, displaying and trading NFTs. You can follow your favourite creators to never miss a drop. Using our notification system you will never miss an opportunity to buy or sell a token. Additionally, objkt.com acts as an aggregator of marketplaces across the Tezos ecosystem, making sure that you will always see the best prices and offers on your NFTs.

Our profile view provides you with the best overview of all the tokens that you own and gives you quick actions to list for sale or send to another wallet. Our extensive filter system makes sure that you’ll always find the NFT you’re looking for.

For Builders

We encourage builders to build their projects on top of the objkt.com API. Our API is the most extensive and consistent API for NFTs on Tezos. As part of the objkt protocol, third-party builders can earn a fee for every sale that they refer to the marketplace.

Community focus and WEB3

We work hard to build a product that reflects the interests and wishes of our community. We take feedback very seriously and have created a roadmap portal to prioritise all feedback that we receive.

If you have any issues, found a bug, or just want to say hi, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us on our Discord.

NFT marketplace

Foundation NFT Marketplace

Meet NFT marketplace Foundation (FND) – maybe the biggest in the industry when it comes to crypto art. The semi-selective platform does a great job of putting artists and its community of collectors front and center. To be sure, this makes it one of the most popular NFT marketplaces out there, particularly when it comes to 1-of-1 crypto art. Accordingly, Foundation.app is selective and hard to get into as a new artist.

So, how do you get accepted in foundation? And why would you want to buy NFTs on this marketplace anyway? Let’s dive into Foundation, who it’s for, and how to use it.

What is Foundation?

To sum up, Foundation is an Ethereum NFT marketplace focused on creating a strong community of NFT creators and collectors. The crypto art platform first announced itself in May 2020, going on to launch in February 2021. Since then the marketplace has amassed over 260,000 users, with over 180,000 NFTs on the marketplace.

Not to mention that creators on the platform have earned a combined 54,992 ETH – about $155 million at the time of writing.

How to get started on Foundation.app

Firstly, anyone with a MetaMask wallet and ETH can create a profile and collect NFTs on FND. All you’ll need is a MetaMask wallet and ETH.

How To Buy An NFT on Foundation Marketplace

Buying on the primary market involves bidding on art auctions (more on that below). If you place the winning auction bid you can then claim your NFT. After claiming, you’ll receive the NFT in your wallet and it will show up on your Foundation.app profile.

Can I sell NFTs on Foundation?

After that you have bought an NFT, you can display it in your virtual gallery. Or you could sell it on the secondary market. If you want to resell an NFT from Foundation on a different NFT marketplace, you can always transfer it out and then sell it.

How To Find New NFTs on Foundation.app

The Foundation marketplace has a clean and simple layout, making it easy to browse through NFTs. Its homepage contains both the top trending auctions, as well as curated sections of featured collections, NFTs, and creators. Users can also search through the hundreds of thousands of NFTs on the marketplace by media type, primary or secondary sale, and by price.

OpenSea

OpenSea NFT Marketplace

OpenSea is an American online non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace headquartered in New York City. The company was founded by Devin Finzer and Alex Atallah in 2017. OpenSea offers a marketplace allowing for non-fungible tokens to be sold directly at a fixed price, or through an auction, based on the Ethereum ERC-721 standard, the layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum Polygon, the KIP-7 standard for Klaytn, and the SPL standard for Solana. In 2021, following a heightened interest in non-fungible tokens, the company’s revenue reached $95 million in February 2021 and $2.75 billion in September of that year. By January 2022, the company had been valued at $13.3 billion and has been considered the largest non-fungible token marketplace. The daily trading volume on the OpenSea marketplace reached a record $2.7 billion on May 1, 2022, but four months later had dropped by 99%.

bitcoin

Bitcoin Blockchain

The bitcoin network is a peer-to-peer payment network that operates on a cryptographic protocol. Users send and receive bitcoins, the units of currency, by broadcasting digitally signed messages to the network using bitcoin cryptocurrency wallet software. Transactions are recorded into a distributed, replicated public database known as the blockchain, with consensus achieved by a proof-of-work system called mining. Satoshi Nakamoto, the designer of bitcoin, claimed that design and coding of bitcoin began in 2007. The project was released in 2009 as open source software. The network requires minimal structure to share transactions. An ad hoc decentralized network of volunteers is sufficient. Messages are broadcast on a best-effort basis, and nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will. Upon reconnection, a node downloads and verifies new blocks from other nodes to complete its local copy of the blockchain.
